Matías Montenegro Sandoval

Matias Montenegro Sandoval's personal ethos is a blend of the diverse experiences he's encountered in Peru, Northern Virginia, and Blacksburg, Virginia. It was in Blacksburg where his architectural education began and where he reconnected with his culture. However, his time in Chicago has truly invigorated him, pushing him intellectually, philosophically, and theoretically as a designer.

Currently a Project Designer at JGMA, Matias's design abilities have flourished and are fueled by his love for his culture, architectural theory, and the multifaceted challenges that come with each project and its unique context. At JGMA, he embraces each opportunity for growth, both professionally and creatively, as he continues to evolve as a designer.
